What is an IEP Consultation?
An IEP consultation helps to ensure that a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) is effectively meeting their needs. This consultation can be necessary if there are concerns about the student’s progress, if their needs have changed, or if parents or educators feel that the current IEP is not adequately supporting the student's learning and development. It also serves as a collaborative space to address any challenges, review assessment data, and make necessary adjustments to the IEP, ensuring that the student continues to receive appropriate and effective services.
